ever thought about how much money Government has wasted,.While we can mention over runs on Roads,Rail,Hospitals,port tunnels ,electronic voting,flood relief and the like,the greatest waste has been bench marking.
Nurses are now on strike -not because they are poorly paid -like all public servants their salaries are well above the average industrial wage,indeed with pensions -actual working time etc they are pretty well off.
Interesting that the bench marking ,justification documents have been shredded!! Reason there was no justification and now Civil and Public servants are paid more than the wealth generating Private sector and indeed on ceasing work their pensions are paid by non public workers and are index linked -any comments supporting Benchmarking
